The Camillus CHOFF 6.25" Titanium Bonded Folding Knife is a no-nonsense, well balanced folding knife for any task. Featuring a 2.75" 420 stainless steel blade and handle, the entire knife is up to 3x harder than untreated steel so the blade retains its edge for the long haul and the handle stays rigid along with it. The 420 steel the CHOFF is made of is a rugged stainless steel with a respectable HRC of 52-55. Typically, this material is used in the knives we want to have the strongest and most rigid grips to compliment our strongest blades. Backed by our Lifetime Warranty, the CHOFF is no different.

In one word, SOLID.
I didn't expect to like this knife as much as I do. From the pictures, this rather squarish, blocky knife seems not very pretty, but in use it performs very well. The all-metal construction and the precision in the machining makes this knife operate with no slop or looseness, so it really feels like a high quality folding knife. The locking mechanism is really solid as is the general feel of the knife. It's pretty weighty for such a compact knife, which also lends to its solid feel. It is fairly thin, making it a good carry knife clipped to a pocket. Despite it's lack of sexy styling, this is a super practical and useful pocket knife.

Camillus CHOFF™ Folding Knife
There’s lots I love about this knife so those first. It looks great, has a very utilitarian almost military look. It’s size is nice and compact. Back to the look, very much a guy’s knife. Now the reason for four stars instead of five. It opens slow. I have to use both the flipper and the thumb stud to open with one hand. I should be able to do it with just the flipper. Maybe it will loosen up in time. Otherwise the compact size makes it great for the pocket, love the design. It’s (mine at least) is just not a knife that opens fast.

I really like the handle
You would think a stainless Steel handle would be too slippery for a knife handle but I really like it. It used a Camillus Machine for gutting and skinning a deer and might try the CHOFF if I get to do it again The finger opener ends up being a finger guard when opened. That makes for some good engineering that it does two jobs. I kept opening and closing it because I didn’t know the thumb flipper could become a guard that would give you a better grip on the handle. Camillus knives always come sharp so be careful

Sturdy Knife
The CHOFF is a sturdy little knife. I really like the wider pocket clip that it has on it. Sometimes, the pocket clip on knives is weak (I have had some break) and seems like an afterthought. That is not so on this knife. Also, the locking mechanism (frame-lock) is robust and locks the knife open well. The only downside to this knife that I have seen is the blade does not swing out as easily with the finger tab as I would like. As always, it does come extremely sharp from Camillus out of the box.

Great little Knife
I like the looks of it and it's fairly sharp out of the box. I also like the small size of it although it has a bit of weight to it.
The bad part is that even though it's a flipper knife, It is very stiff and can't be fully opened via the flipper or even the thumb studs.
I Also found that loosening the pivot screw does help with deployment of the blade but it puts it off center and causes it to rub on the frame.
I gave it 4 stars anyway because I still really like the knife.

Quality knife in a small package
This is a quality knife, stainless steel blade & handle, small in size, easy on your pocket, titanium bonded blade. It makes for a nice knife that isn't too big.

Slim and Sleek!
I just received the Choff and the first thing I noticed was how slim it is and how sleek the body is and how good the weighting is. The titanium blade is sharp and the body smooth but not slippery. It also has a nice wide pocket clip that works good in my front watch pocket. The Choff would make a great EDC knife!

Handy Camping Short Blade
Love this pocket knife! Sturdy Stainless Steel Handle looks good and stands up to the rough handling in camp. Small blade is handy in the camp kitchen as a paring knife or in general use cutting cord...etc. I like the flipper opener and frame lock. The CHOFF is a great addition to the CAMILLUS line of knives!
