The VG10 steel of the 3.75″ Tanto blade is considered a “super steel”, because it is designed to maintain sharpness and durability above all else. To compliment its base durability, the steel is bonded with Carbonitride Titanium that provides an additional layer of resistance against rust and corrosion. It also provides a massive boost to the strength and edge retaining properties of the blade, making it up to 10x harder than untreated steel. To compliment the stalwart blade, The BEAST also features a sturdy, G10 handle. The G10 material is made of an extremely durable assemblage of fiberglass layers soaked in resin, then highly compressed and baked to become impervious to moisture or liquid.
