Rated 3 out of 5 by tiquefinder from Handy Camp Hatchet! Always anxious to use Camillus Knives and gear! The Teak handle is sturdy and appealing, as handles go. The head has good weight to help carry the sharp blade through branches and kindling. I wish the head front had a flat face, so it could be used to hammer tent pegs, nails, etc. Not sure how the head is secured to the handle, so curious as to it's longevity in staying secure. Would also have liked a belt sheath with proper blade protector.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MJMcD from Nice balance, but didn't last long Out of the box it is not as sharp as I expected it to be. The handle was comfortable, and the head is a nice shape. I used it to cut some kindling for a campfire. The did an ok job for not being sharp. But after about 20 shops with it, the handle broke off at the head. It looked like the wood was not fully solid at that point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Makoman from Do not leave home without having this in your car. I had so much fun with this hatchet. The handle is very strong (TEAK) and comfortable. I have been using CAMILLUS products for over 50 years and the quality continues. I love the comfortable feel of this tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 19deltahendo from Every outdoorsman needs one of these. This axe is a nice piece of equipment to have in your backpack when your heading out into the woods. It’s a nice size that doesn’t take up to much room but, is big enough to get the job done whatever it is!
