Rated 4 out of 5 by devo47 from Unique knife I got the knife because I wanted a new fixed blade and this one looked interesting. Right out of the package I noticed that it was really well balanced with the guard in place and the grip very comfortable. When you pulled the guard back, it completely shifted the balance of the knife and made the handle a little awkward to hold. The knife is razor sharp out of the package and has held up to the abuse I have thrown at it. Overall, the knife is well made and quality, and I would have probably rated the knife higher had the balance of the knife not shifted so much with the guard being opened.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MagneticBoar from Great Overall Knife Got the knife a couple of weeks ago, and I'm pretty happy with it. VERY sharp out of the box. This is a wonderful camp/hunt/fish knife, but not one I would recommend for every day carry. The flip back blade cover, while an interesting idea, has its flaws. I would recommend the spring load to be used for opening the knife, rather than closing it. If you were to need the blade in an emergency, it would be too awkward and near impossible to open. That's really the only negative comment I have. Thanks again, Camillus!

Rated 3 out of 5 by 2twisted from Camillus Crossover ? This knife is designed with a spring assist guard if you want to use it as a EDC pocket knife or carry it in a sheath. After opening it up and taking a moment to figure out how to lower the guard, my fist thought's were ,this thing is heavy , the blade is sharp and it is well constructed....My fingers are a little too big to fit in the hole with the guard open, I get the concept but the knife is too big for a pocket clip. A little awkward to use but I think I will keep it on my Snowmobile and use it for cutting small twigs and branches for cooking over fires.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Joe C from Unique features The blade guard is a very unique feature of this knife which allows you to set the knife down when not in the sheath so it will protect the blade. The blade is very sturdy and the knife is well built.
