Good overall outdoor Knife
I have a Mask that is my every day carry. If I am outside, it is on my side. After purchasing a Mask with the factory handles I found that Camillus makes a kit to make you own wood handles. Since I have made dozens for gifts for friends and family and they all love their MASK!

Great value
Does everything a hunting knife should do and it does it perfectly.
I used it to field dress a deer , cleaned it up and used it to skin and quarter the same animal with out having to sharpen. Cant beat the knife for the price. My only negative thing to say is I only bought 1

Questions
What specific steel is used in your knives?
VG-10:
A unique formulation of steel with a high carbon content. It contains various amounts of one or more of the following: Chromium, Vanadium and Cobalt. VG-10 is considered a "super steel," because it is designed to maintain sharpness and durability. In addition to its exceptional edge retention, being a stainless steel, VG-10 is also surprisingly corrosion resistant due to its fairly high chromium content.
AUS-8 Steel:
AUS-8 is a Japanese medium-carbon, high-chromium stainless steel. One word says it all, "balance". It offers exceptional balance between toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. Balance provides lasting value. AUS-8 ranks among the hardest, toughest, and most rust-resistant knife alloys. It's a trusted favorite that enthusiasts prefer time and again.
D2:
This air hardened tool steel is sometimes called a "semi-stainless" steel, because it contains 12% chromium. It offers decent corrosion resistance with exceptional edge retention. It is harder to sharpen than most, but can be finished to a high-polish shine.
Sandvik 12C27:
This stainless steel is made in Sweden. It is generally known as a premium steel for knife blades, offering a good balance of corrosion resistance, sharpenability and edge retention.
440:
A stainless steel with a terrific balance between hardness and corrosion resistance. 440 takes a nice edge and is fairly easy to resharpen. An excellent value-priced steel for its performance. Good toughness and stain resistance.
7Cr
7Cr17 stainless steel is similar to 440 steel, with very good strength and wear resistance.
1095 High Carbon
An easy-to-sharpen carbon steel used in knife making. It contains carbon and little else. It is strong and a great overall knife steel.
420
A hard, strong blade steel. This stainless steel is commonly used in knife blades, and offers good corrosion resistance at a low cost. Decent edge holding capabilities and fairly easy to resharpen, this steel is a good balance of the most desirable traits for knife steel.
420J2
A stainless steel that has a low carbon content and has a high chromium content, making it a shock absorbing steel that bends instead of breaking. The 420J2 has excellent resistance to corrosion, high stain resistance and fair edge holding capability.

Is this basically the same Camillus knife as the 9.5 Drop point sku #016162194327?
The blade shape is different, but the blade materials are the same.
-19832 is a bit shorter at 9” overall and has an ABS handle, that has a more squared off shape.
-9.5” Drop Point(19432) has a TPR handle, which is basically a more firm rubber.
