To compliment the strengths of the gut hook blade, the BlackRiver also features an ergonomic, G10 handle. The G10 material is made of an extremely durable assemblage of fiberglass layers soaked in resin, then highly compressed and baked tp become impervious to moisture or liquid. This process also provides the G10 with greatly enhanced durability and stability under rapidly shifting climate conditions. A full tang construction also provides strength to the cutting blade while also supporting a stronger and more rigid handle for a firm grip.
