The Camillus Lev-R-Lok Folding Knife has a Carbonitride Titanium treated AUS-8 Stainless Steel blade with a G10 handle. AUS-8 is a Japanese medium-carbon, high-chromium stainless steel. One word says it all, "balance". It offers exceptional balance between toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. Balance provides lasting value. AUS-8 ranks among the hardest, toughest, and most rust-resistant knife alloys. It's a trusted favorite that enthusiasts prefer time and again. G10 is an extremely durable makeup of layers of fiberglass soaked in resin, then highly compressed and baked. Impervious to moisture or liquid and physically stable under climate change. Carbonitride Titanium is one of the hardest surface treatments containing titanium. Harder than carbide. Harder than chrome. Our proprietary process creates a permanent molecular bond with the blade surface. Will not flake, blister, chip, or peel. A complex crystalline structure forms which protects the blade surface against wear, staining, and damage. Patent pending technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Knife I have the original Made in the U.S.A. Lev-R-Lok drop point knife and it still works perfect. My co-worker has a Buck Rush and i personally preffer this knife because of how fast it is to open it, if you are looking for a fast one handed knife this is the one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clip point not drop point blade style This is a clip point blade not drop point. Notice the "clipped" edge from tip to about 1/2 the blade on non sharp side adjacent to belly.
