Customer Reviews

Camillus Wildfire® 7.25" Folding Knife is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy Folding Knife I got this knife because of its unique design and I am not disappointed. I have been using it for about a week now and have I used it in ways that this knife was not intended: from prying off shutters (after hurricane prep) to using the spine to scrape. This knife has stood up to the abuse I have thrown at it and has remained as razor sharp as it was out of the package. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that the knife does not personally fit my hand as well some other folders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality! I am very happy with this knife. I love the shape of the blade, and that it was razor sharp. It took a few times to get good at opening and closing it. After I figured it out, it really works great. I look forward to using this knife daily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Razor Sharp Knife! When I started to use this knife I was amazed by how sharp it was. Shaved the hair off my arm. I opened a few blister packs and cardboard boxes and try to cut paper again and was able to cut vary thin strips

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design I haven't used it much so far but I'm getting ready to go deer hunting and when I get my deer I will be using the knife to gut the deer and I know it will do a good job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great EDC blade First impression: Sleek, substantial but not too heavy, a great cutting blade shape, just the right overall size and blade size, and a sharp edge right out of the gate (although I did do a few swipes on my sharpening stone to remove a couple edge burr spots. It happens.) I really like the blade mechanism, the little slidey button will both open and close the blade one handed, however the flip nub on the blade works better for opening it. I have used it for all kinds of silly things in the last week or so, and it performs great. Cut some veggies and a pumpkin off their vine, trimmed some air hose for my aquarium, opened some packaging, and a few other small household tasks. I also took it to work and put it through some real labor. In an industrial fab shop, there really aren't any "light tasks". Trimming thick rubber/vinyl/plastic, cutting rope, giving industrial strength cardboard the business, etc. The edge still looks great, no loss in cutting ability.Really, the only complaint I have is that the pocket clip doesnt offer more than one position. I like to be able to carry my knife in my right front pocket, with the blade opening toward the back of the pocket to avoid any unwanted openings. A sharp knife opening in a man's front pocket is no one's idea of a good time. Fortunately, the mechanism in this knife requires more than just a twitch of the blade to open it, and the clip is tight enough that I can wear it at the front of the pocket without any worry of sliding or slipping. All in all, a great knife.
