Camillus Vortex Folding Knife is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid performance! I got this knife a couple of weeks ago and I love it! For a medium sized knife it performs really well. It's not too heavy to carry in my pocket all day long. Although it does have a belt clip on it, I don't clip it to my belt. When i would clip it inside my pocket, I had difficulty removing other things. The textured body feels nice in my hand when cutting or shaving wood, and it helped my grip a little when skinning animals. Other than the blet clip adding a little bulkiness to the knife the things I like about this knife=lightweight, grip, durability of materials. Very solid knife.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid knife This is a solid well made knife for a very reasonable price. The G10 grips make it easy to hold and the liner lock feels sturdy. So far the blade seems to hold an edge pretty well. It's a little on the heavy side for an EDC knife. For the price of this knife its hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solidly Made!! Yet Light weight! Great packaging came with point protector. Nice nonslip grip, easy open one handed (right handed), secure locking, blade does not wiggle! Feels good in your hand. Nice black satin finished Titanium blade, holds a very sharp edge! Extra strong pocket clip! This is my new favorite pocket tool and I have been carried a knife for the last 40 + years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The build quality on this knife is pretty impressive, thick steel was used all around. The blade is razor sharp and made with aus-8 steel which is one of my favorites. The pocket clip has the company logo which i think is a nice touch and the handle is textured which as I've tested, will give you a good grip even when the knife is wet

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rugged durable This knife is built to last. A little heavy for my liking but I've taken to the shorter lighter pocket knives. This will definitely be a "go to" hunting knife however. Sturdy and the blade should hold an edge very well. Would have given five stars if it were slightly smaller and/or lighter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An All-Around Great Knife! I have been looking for a tough multi-purpose folder. I looked at various models and styles from other major brands and could not settle on one. The Vortex has now filled that void. From its tactical styling to razor-sharp blade, this knife is all business. And the price point is right on the money. The Vortex comes with a plain edge AUS8 blade coated with Camillus' proprietary carbonitride/titanium coating for superior protection. The drop point blade is as sharp is they come. The curvature on the edge assures a smooth slice. I performed the standard paper test and the angled blade sliced through heavy paper with ease. In addition, the Vortex proved itself an excellent whittling tool with an old oak branch. The dimpled G10 handle is shaped ergonomically and provides a firm grip no matter what job is at hand. The clip is heavy duty and is well suited for the heft of the Vortex. However, I wish the clip came in black instead of the conspicuous silver and positioned to sit at a lower profile in my pocket. Although it's a little heavy for everyday carry (EDC), I carry it anyway simply for the feeling of confidence that I get with it in my pocket. Lastly, the elongated lanyard loop at the end looks to me like it's solid enough to be used as a glass breaker. Overall, the Vortex is a reliable knife and a great value for any tactical or outdoor application. I will be carrying it afield with me through this hunting season.
