Customer Reviews

Camillus Sin Tomahawk is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing until it broke. I'm a trapper and used it for everything from chopping holes for ice fishing and for trapping during the day to skinning and fleshing hides at night. It was always at my side for all of hunting season half of trapping season and saw some really hard use. The blade kept an edge fairly well considering the number of beaver hides i fleshed with it and number of fresh bones it cut. It broke in the bush yesterday and cut my day short. Probably wasn't intended for the heavy use I gave it, but was a great little tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sheath This is a great tomahawk ,the sheath is way to big, it needs a leather more compact sheath.if one comes out ill buy it, and wish it was made in USA.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good hawk. Bought it half price and couldn't be happier. I use this hawk for everyday bushcraft outings, from building shelters to making fires; splitting wood, and making feather-sticks. It's a good weight to weild and feels safe and secure in my hand(s). Some people have said the sheath could be better, and sure, I suppose it could be. I would prefer a strap or two rather than snap buttons. But I haven't had an issue with it. Bought this half price or so from a TSC store and I couldn't be happier. Loving this hawk.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rather Disapointed. I have pros and cons on this Tomahawk. It throws pretty well with a little practice and chops small wood great but the handle needs improvement. The handle is wrapped in rope so it will twist while you are trying to chop or throw. I don't feel confident in the grip I have on it while using it. It feels like its going to fly out at any moment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Camillus Sin Tomahwk is a monster! Went to camp over the weekend for some snowmobiling and found we had no kindling for the wood stove ( our only means of heat ) so out came the new Tomahawk. It's a bear we had kindling in no time and I ever left a new pile of kindling for next weekend.
