Customer Reviews

Camillus SEIZE II™ 7.75” Folding Knife is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sharp, compact and strong. This is a great little folder that has held up to a wide variety of tasks in the field. Easy to open and close, yet it locks rock-solid for secure use. I'm bad about cleaning/oiling, but the black coated blade has shown no signs of corrosion. It does not come with a sheath, but the handy side clip is a great addition. It also has a small metal loop on the end to add a lanyard if desired. Fits well in the hand and the textures handle makes for a good, secure grip. The blade is stout and strong. This is a great knife for everyday use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from solid knife good looking, well put together, however the edge is a little rough in finish. It appears that a 400 grit wheel or belt was used. it would greatly enhance the edge to use a finer grit to finish off the edge. say a 800 to 1000 grit. It would also appear to be a finer detailed knife. In addition, the assisted opening feature is a tad too tight on both knives. These comments are for both knives which are the same model, only the packaging was different. The board to board packaging is well done with good copy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for everyday carry As a person who carries a knife of this style all the time, I really like it. It's a bit heavier than some, but a great full-size knife that clips to your pocket solidly. The drop-point blade is sharp right out of the package and holds an edge well. The only downside is that the lifetime warrantee requires you to send the knife back in it's original packaging, which nobody is going to save, so the warrantee isn't worth much. Still, it is a great carry knife.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Construction and Very Sharp! This knife fits nicely in my hand and has a really good feel. It opens very smoothly and has a very sharp blade. This knife is light and when clipped on my belt, it is barely noticeable. The safety feature of the opener also preventing your finger to slip forward onto the blade is a great feature. Also, the Lifetime Warranty says a lot about the company. They know they are making high quality products and stand behind them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Like the blade shape , and that it can be opened with the flipper or thumb in blade hole , kind of a thin liner piece for the lock , but i think its fine , also like that the handle is not black like most knives, seems to be a decent budget knife , careful getting it out of the clampack , also comes in a box version , which i like better , has very sharp factory edge , always nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good EDC blade I wouldn't trust my life to a value leader in a knife. I would, however, gladly (and do) carry this knife with me every day. The kraton handle is grippy and light, the steel takes and holds an edge. My one complaint i have of this experience was trying to get the knife out of the ridiculous packaging! Holy cow, I had to break it out of cardboard and plastic prison!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice minimalist design with modern features I've gone through the expensive semi-custom high end folder craze. Then I realized I was regularly breaking or on occasion loosing expensive tools. I've come to appreciate knives such as the Seize II because the offer features I look for at a price where the fear of breaking or loosing doesn't prevent me from using them as what the really

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sharp sturdy knife Pretty happy overall with this. It ended up not being my style of knife exactly, I prefer a wider less thin pointed knife. As well as the handle felt a little to plastic for my liking. The build of it feels pretty sturdy and the blade comes with a nice edge. If you like the look and perfer something lighter to carry this is a good choice

Ask a question

I recently purchased a Camillus Seize II knife at Walmart for about $10. In comparing photos, the one that I purchased has a thumbstud instead of the cutout notich in the blade. The handle is the Seize II but the blade is an original Seize. How, why?

Asked by: TN98
It is likely that you purchased an older version of the Seize II, as the one listed on our website is the most up to date and revised version of the Seize II.
