Camillus SEIZE II™ 7.75” Folding Knife - Boxed is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A simple, solid knife ready when you need it I'm a real knife guy, and carry a knife of this type all the time, and I really like the Seize II. It's a bit heavier than the all-plastic frame carry knives, but is very solid and comfortable to carry. The drop-point blade is sharp right out of the box and holds an edge well. I love that the blade locks open solid and tight. Note that the lifetime warrantee requires you to send the knife back in it's original box, so it would be best to save the box. This is a very nice carry knife that's found a home clipped to my pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight & durable This was a replacement EDC knife for me to carry all day. I use my knife to open packages, as an occasional pry bar, hammer, etc. I'm hard on my tools and expect them to be pretty durable. This knife, so far, has met the tasks asked of it. It's taken some work getting the blade to wear in and flip out quick enough to be of use when I am one handed working, but it's getting there. The edge holds pretty well, and like most Camillus knives, it takes an edge acceptably. I wish there was a slightly better flip out, but overall the ergonomics and feel of the blade are good. Time will tell how durable the thing is, but I foresee it to be a solid companion for a good while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice small knife. I needed a new small knife and when I handled the Seize II, it felt just right in my hand. It's a 7.75 inch knife, with a 3.25 inch blade, with the proper weight balance in one's hand. The knife certainly has a proper heft, and came well sharpened, ready to use. A whetstone was not needed. After using this knife for a few weeks, it has stayed sharp. I suspect it won't be difficult to sharpen,as it has a good grade steel. The knife has a clip which allows me to fasten it to my belt, which is very handy when I go outside, especially in the garden.A good knife, definitely worth purchasing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good knife This is a pretty good knife. The blade is sharp and the coating is durable. It is slim enough that it just disappears in your pocket. The flipper stud makes it easy to open. My only complaint is the handle material is slippery when it gets wet. It could use deeper grooves for this material. When it’s dry it fits comfortably in the hand. Overall a good little knife.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Reliable Knife I have used this knife for a month and have been very pleased with the quality of construction and the ability to maintain a sharp blade. It has been used for both light duty as well as more rigorous tasks around the farm. I especially like the textured handle and placement of the clip which allows the knife to remain securely in place while moving hay bales. Perfect for a small to medium hand. Someone with a larger hand would prefer a slightly longer handle for comfort and ease of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Looking, Easy Opening Budget Knife The first thing I noticed with this knife is that it looks great, better in person than in the pic. The glass filled nylon handle is a kind of dessert tan which goes well with the black titanium coating on the stainless steel blade which comes sharp and may need resharpening after a week or so of use. The black coating also seems to protect the knife from scuffs as mine is scuff free so far. My next favorite thing about this knife is it’s easy to open. This is a flipper knife and takes just a bit of a flick of the wrist to get it open. I like that in a flipper as some open too easy. This one is just right and I have no fear of it opening in my pocket. It also has a thumb hole but I found that a bit awkward to use and wondered if it was more about shaving some weight rather than as an opening device. My last. Favorite thing about this knife is that it feels good in the pocket. It’s not a small pocket knife and even looks like it could feel bulky but it hasn’t felt that way. The biggest drawback to this knife is that the clip can be a bit uncomfortable when gripping the knife (to the index finger) and I think I’ll remove mine. This is a budget knife, good for everyday carry or to throw in the glove compartment or tackle box. It does have a lifetime warranty. It’s a nice low priced knife.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great knife for a low cost. This knife performs better than I expected. For an inexpensive knife, you can not go wrong with this knife. Straight out of the box, it was razor sharp. After using it for a while, it was as sharp as when I first unboxed it. This knife is a great size and fits my hand well. The only negative I have seen about this knife is that it does not flip all the way open when I use the flip assist tab. Other than that, this is a great knife for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barely notice its there This is a great EDC knife. Its sharp, its got a useful point, the handle is grippy enough for work, and its slim and trim enough that you will barely notice its there. Great knife for the price. Bonus points for not having to deburr it after I opened the package. I feel like 9 times out of 10 I have to deburr a new knife, which is just sad.Money-for-value, Camillus is hard to beat.

Where are these knives manufactured? I have the seize 2 and happen to love it for what it is. I am just curious.
