Rated 4 out of 5 by from In one word, SOLID. I didn't expect to like this knife as much as I do. From the pictures, this rather squarish, blocky knife seems not very pretty, but in use it performs very well. The all-metal construction and the precision in the machining makes this knife operate with no slop or looseness, so it really feels like a high quality folding knife. The locking mechanism is really solid as is the general feel of the knife. It's pretty weighty for such a compact knife, which also lends to its solid feel. It is fairly thin, making it a good carry knife clipped to a pocket. Despite it's lack of sexy styling, this is a super practical and useful pocket knife.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Camillus CHOFF™ Folding Knife There’s lots I love about this knife so those first. It looks great, has a very utilitarian almost military look. It’s size is nice and compact. Back to the look, very much a guy’s knife. Now the reason for four stars instead of five. It opens slow. I have to use both the flipper and the thumb stud to open with one hand. I should be able to do it with just the flipper. Maybe it will loosen up in time. Otherwise the compact size makes it great for the pocket, love the design. It’s (mine at least) is just not a knife that opens fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like the handle You would think a stainless Steel handle would be too slippery for a knife handle but I really like it. It used a Camillus Machine for gutting and skinning a deer and might try the CHOFF if I get to do it again The finger opener ends up being a finger guard when opened. That makes for some good engineering that it does two jobs. I kept opening and closing it because I didn’t know the thumb flipper could become a guard that would give you a better grip on the handle. Camillus knives always come sharp so be careful

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy Knife The CHOFF is a sturdy little knife. I really like the wider pocket clip that it has on it. Sometimes, the pocket clip on knives is weak (I have had some break) and seems like an afterthought. That is not so on this knife. Also, the locking mechanism (frame-lock) is robust and locks the knife open well. The only downside to this knife that I have seen is the blade does not swing out as easily with the finger tab as I would like. As always, it does come extremely sharp from Camillus out of the box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet little EDC knife This knife is a solid little EDC knife, that could be slightly longer but overall feels good in the hand. (I do have small hands.) My only gripes are no thong hole and no extra holes to switch the pocket clip. Since I am right handed not an issue but if I was a lefty it would be a problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great knife The knife opens and closes very smoothly and the construction feels very strong. Edge holds up nicely. My only complaint it that where the liner lock is cut out from the frame has a rather sharp edge. Its not a big deal considering the price point. Overall great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent pocket knife Nice midsize folder. First for me was the wider version of the pocket clip. I like this version over the thin style. Good for EDC over a larger knife style if you need to lighten you load.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid knife. Great folding knife with a sharp edge and a well designed hinge for flipping open and deploying for quick use. I like this knife for daily EDC.
